Surgical Gowns
Make your surgical procedures safe for both your health care professionals and patients with our FDA-regulated and SITRA-certified surgical gowns. Since the surgical procedures are conducted in a highly-controlled environment, it’s imperative to protect some areas of the body as per regulatory standards. These areas include the front of the body (from top of the shoulders to knees) and the arms (from the shoulders to the wrist).
Surgical gowns form a protective barrier against the infections of microorganisms from blood and other bodily fluids. We offer surgical gowns that are designed according to standards AAMI Level 3 and AAMI Level 4, at various WHO-recommended GSMs.
Non-surgical Gowns
Vertex offers non-surgical gowns intended to protect health care professionals from bacterial and viral infections via blood and bodily fluids, during scenarios that involve low or minimal risks. Designed in accordance with the standards such as AAMI Level 1 (45 GSM), made of laminated non-woven fabric and AAMI Level 2 (60 GSM), made of laminated non-woven polypropylene fabric. Our non-surgical gowns are suitable for patient isolation procedures, yet they meet the highest liquid barrier protection levels mentioned by SITRA and FDA. We offer non-surgical gowns at various GSMs recommended by WHO.
Three-ply Face Mask
Vertex’s 3-ply face mask offers comprehensive facial protection to prevent respiratory droplets from traveling in the air and falling on others. The mask is made of melt-blown material, placed between non-woven fabric, which acts as a barrier to block large-size particle droplets, splashes, and splatter containing microbes that may enter through the mask.
Before dispatch, our three-ply masks are subjected to stringent tests such as absorbency test, breath test, electrostatic absorption test, light transmission test, water-resistant test, non-flammability test, and visual test to ensure that they are safe both for the wearer and others in proximity.
N95 Respirators
N95 respirators that we offer comply with all the regulatory guidelines of SITRA and FDA, making it an effective facial protection gear for controlling respiratory infections. The edges of the N95 respirator are designed to fit on the face perfectly and for efficient filtration of airborne microbes. Exclusively designed for health care professionals, our disposable N95 respirators fit best for both surgical and patient isolation procedures. They are extensively tested for fluid resistance, flammability, particulate & bacterial filtration efficiency, and biocompatibility to ensure complete facial protection for the heroes of the frontline.
Coveralls
Vertex’s disposable coveralls act as a protective barrier between the infectious surfaces that contain viral & bacterial contaminants and the wearer’s body. We use premium polyurethane fabric and SSMMS fabric (at 70 GSM & 90 GSM) to construct our coveralls. Coveralls are designed to give complete protection from head to toe and are suitable for environments involving medium to high risks of infection.
Head Covers
Headcovers make the infection control complete and are considered as an essential protective gear during surgeries. Surgical Drapes
Vertex offers surgical drapes that guarantee patients and doctors a complete level of protection they need during surgical procedures. Our surgical drapes comply with the regulatory standards of AAMI, SITRA, and FDA, and are suitable for procedural levels such as AAMI Level 3 and AAMI Level 4.

Fluid and Microbial Barrier Test
To measure the resistance of the equipment towards microbes in blood and other fluids using viral penetration at 2psi ambient pressure.
Hydrostatic Pressure Test
To determine the fluid resistance by measuring the force required by fluid to penetrate the fabric.
Laser and Ignition Resistance
To determine the impact of laser-induced flammability on the fabric, in the oxygen-rich environment.
Martindale Abrasion Test
To visually test the abrasion resistance of the fabric.
GELBO Test
To determine the relative number of lint that comes off from the fabric.
CPSC Standard for the Flammability of Clothing Textiles
To test the fabric’s degree of flammability.
